Michael Sommerville is a piano teacher and musician who has been teaching piano, theory and history out of his home studio in Port Coquitlam, BC since 2002. Michael holds a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from UBC and is a member of the BC Registered Music Teachers Association, under the Coquitlam Maple Ridge branch. In addition to teaching, Michael remains active as a musician, is the coordinator of the North Fraser Music Festival and is a piano and theory examiner for Conservatory Canada.
