I am a piano teacher, an accredited music therapist, a singer, an accompanist, and an arranger. As a music teacher I am honoured and grateful to be able to share my love for music with so many students.
I have been operating my private home studio since 2005, where I presently teach approximately 40 students weekly. I am an active member of the BC Registered Music Teacher's Association. I completed my Bachelor's degree of Music Therapy at Capilano University in 2003 and earned my Associate of the Royal Conservatory (ARCT) Teacher's Pedagogy Diploma in 2007.
As a teacher with 30 years of experience, I believe that my passion, knowledge, authenticity, and experience is what helps me in creating unique bonds with my pupils. I meet students where they are at and encourage creativity, song arranging, and self-expression. I embrace working with neurodiversity and enjoy the challenge of finding new ways to meet students' needs, regardless of their background or ability.
